SEULYN LEE AU, O.D.

Dr. Au has been in practice for over twenty-one years. She started her undergraduate studies at Pacific University in Oregon and continued with early admissions to Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Au practiced in Philadelphia for three years as a managing doctor for the Philadelphia Vision Center before returning home to Hawaii where she started the state’s only non-profit Eye Care Clinic and served as Director for thireteen years. She is also an adjunct Associate Professor with Pacific University College of Optometry, University of Missouri School of Optometry, and the College of Optometry at Waterloo.

Dr. Au, along with her partner and cousin, Dr. Khan Lau, joined the LensCrafters team in 1989 and won the LensCrafters Nationwide Office of the Year for 2000.

Dr. Au resides in Makiki Heights with her two children Chad and Tiffany and enjoys spending all her free time with her family. She can be reached by email at aulau01@lava.net.

KHAN LAU, O.D., FAAO

Dr. Lau, a native of Los Angeles, earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at California State University of Fullerton. He completed his graduate studies at the University Of Missouri School of Optometry, and attended externships at the Veteran’s Hospital in Kansas and the Kalihi/Palama Health Clinic here in Hawaii.

After graduating, Dr. Lau moved to Hawaii to be closer to his family roots. He joined his cousin and partner, Dr. Au as part of the LensCrafters team in 1989 and won the LensCrafters Nationwide Office of the Year for 2000.

Dr. Lau has also taken special interest in volunteering for the One Sight Program by providing eye care in countries such as Albania, Mexico, Laos, and China. He is a member of the Hawaii Optometric Organization and is a certified; affiliate doctor at the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii and is also a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry.

An active member of the Hawaii community, Dr. Lau serves as a volunteer advisor for the Junior Achievement Program at Pearl City High School.

Dr. Lau resides in Kaimuki and enjoys spending time with his daughter, who lives in San Jose. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, golfing, and cycling; and is conversational in Japanese and Spanish.

DANA TANNO, O.D.

Dr. Dana Tanno is a graduate of Punahou High School. She left Hawaii to attend Tufts University, earning her bachelor in science in Biology and Environmental Studies. She completed her graduate studies at Pacific University College of Optometry, which included externships at Kaiser Permanente Honolulu and LensCrafters.

Upon graduation, she received the Vistakon Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care and joined LensCrafters team of Drs Au and Lau on a full time basis in 2001,

An active participant in the One Sight Program Dr Tanno has attended missions in Laos, Mali, Guatemala, Thailand, Cambodia, Mexico, Romania, Panama and Chile.

She is also a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Tanno enjoys golfing and snowboarding in her free time.

LINDA R. WONG, O.D.

Dr. Wong earned her undergraduate degree in Physiology and Biology at the University of California at Berkeley. She continued her studies at U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Wong has been associated with different Ophthalmology groups over the past twenty eight years of her career in California and Hawaii. She joined Drs. Au and Lau at LensCrafters in 1999 and she has established herself as one of the most popular doctors at the practice.

Dr. Wong was born and raised in California but moved to Hawaii in 1985. She resides in Manoa with her husband and two children. On her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, and reading.

ERICA YOO, O.D.

Dr. Erica Yoo is a native of California and the youngest member of the practice.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Dance from Pomona College in Claremont.  Dr Yoo then completed her graduate studies at the Southern California College of Optometry.

She joined Drs. Au & Lau on a full time basis in 2009.

Dr. Yoo enjoys ballet, tennis and as well as spending time with her new family. Dr Yoo is also fluent in Korean.
